Syria's farmers are suffering as a combination of drastic subsidy cuts and drought takes its toll. The north-east of the country has been particularly hard hit by four successive years of drought and hundreds of farmers are leaving the land for the capital Damascus. Most of them end up in the Ghuta, the formerly lush oasis which surrounded the capital, where they live in tents and try to eke out a living as day labourers in the construction and agricultural industry.Check out the latest From the Source Flickr photostream.
